IT Support for Mortgage Brokers

Protecting the client data and trust your mortgage broking business runs on.

Mortgage brokers sit at the centre of some of the largest financial transactions your clients will ever make. That combination of sensitive financial data and large settlement amounts makes broking businesses a genuine target for cybercriminals, particularly through phishing and fraudulent fund transfer attempts.

Where Mortgage Brokers Are Most Exposed

IT With You protects mortgage brokers with ongoing phishing simulations and security awareness training that helps your team recognise a scam before acting on it, phishing resistant multi factor authentication and identity management that stops a stolen password from becoming a breach, and managed backups with unlimited retention, stored securely in Sydney, Australia, so client files are always recoverable. It all runs on the same secure by default Microsoft 365 environment we set up for every client.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you back up and protect our data?

We provide fully managed backups with unlimited retention, so client data is never truly lost even if it’s deleted or corrupted. All backup data is stored in Sydney, Australia, with our backup provider SOC 2 compliant, giving you real confidence your data is protected to a high standard.

Do you work with mortgage brokers of our size?

We work with mortgage broking businesses of varying sizes, from sole operators to larger broking groups, and tailor our approach to fit your team and budget.

Do you understand the specific risks mortgage brokers face?

Yes. We work with mortgage brokers regularly and understand the specific risks the industry faces, particularly around large financial transactions and sensitive client data. Our approach reflects that.

Do you provide security awareness training for our staff?

Yes, and we’d strongly recommend it. Technology can flag a lot, but the most effective protection against scams like business email compromise or fraudulent settlement requests is a team that knows what to look for. We run ongoing phishing simulations and security awareness training for your staff, not just a one off session, so recognising a scam becomes second nature over time.

What visibility do we get into our environment?

You get real time access to everything through our client portal. That includes all open and closed support tickets, patching status, invoices and billing history, every device and its compliance status, and a live project tracker for any in flight projects we’re running for you. Most IT providers give little to no visibility, or send a basic report after the fact. We believe in open transparency, so you always know exactly where things stand without having to ask.

We already have an IT provider. Won't switching be difficult?

It’s a lot easier than you think. We do all the legwork in the transition, liaising with your current provider, gathering documentation, and setting up your environment before anything changes for your team. What’s required on your end is simple: your staff start contacting our help desk instead of your old provider’s, and you pay us instead of them. That’s it. Our team handles everything else and makes the process seamless.
